Honeyed nuts paste
Zrir is a typically sweet treat made of sesame, nuts, butter, and honey. Such natural nutrient-dense ingredients make an amazing flavor. Just one tablespoon every morning can replace a glass of milk. Not only pregnant women are always recommended to eat zrir during pregnancy and after delivery but also kids. Everybody needs it.
Ingredients:
-350 g toasted sesame seeds
-350 g toasted walnuts (you can add toasted almond and pistachio.The more nuts you add, the healthier and stronger your zrir will be)
-150 g natural butter
-300 g honey
Instructions:
-Grind the sesame seeds until you get a thick paste.
-Grind the toasted walnuts untiL you get a thick paste as well.
-Place the butter in a saucepan over low heat and let it melt. Remove the milk foam.
-Add the honey and mix.
-Add the paste of nuts and mix with a wooden spatula over low heat for 2 min until you get a smooth and homogeneous paste.
-Remove from heat and let the zrir cool.
-Put the zrir in a jar.
