Peanut butter




It is so easy to make nut butter at home. It requires just 3 ingredients and comes together in less than 30 minutes. It is high time you give it a try.


Ingredients:

- 2 cups raw shelled peanuts
- 1 to 2 tablespoons oil  ( for  creamier peanut butter)
-1 to 2 tablespoon honey or another sweetener like maple syrup (for sweeter peanut butter)


Instructions:


- Roast the peanuts until lightly golden-brown (not too much otherwise they become bitter).

- Pour the warm peanuts in a food processor and mix them. Run the processor continuously for about 10 min until the butter is glossy and soft.
- Add the oil and the honey and process the butter for 1 to 2 min until it becomes smooth.

-You can add coarsely crushed peanuts for a crunchy  butter.

-You can add cocoa powder to make it chocolatey.
