Lentil soup with shrimps

                         Lentil soup with shrimps





Ingredients:

- 200 gr red lentils

- 1/2 can of peeled 


- tomatoes

- 1 tbsp concentrated tomato

- 1 onion chopped

- 1 garlic clove chopped

- 1 tsp ground turmeric

- 1 tsp ground coriander

- 1 lime juice

- 1 Celery stalk chopped

- 1 tablespoon of olive oil

- 200 gr shrimps




Instructions:



- Put the olive oil in a large pan and heat over medium heat.
- Add the onion, shrimp carcasses, celery salt, pepper and sauté.

- Add the garlic and tomato paste and peeled tomato and sauté.

- Add hot water, bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium, cover and simmer 20 minutes.

- Rinse the lentils well under clear water, drain them then add them to the pot.

- Add water until the lentils are covered, cover the pot and simmer over low heat for about 40 minutes.

- Once the lentils are tender, remove the soup from the heat

- Blend your soup, leave a little lentil unmixed and there we add the shrimps and put back over the heat 7 minutes.

- Add lemon juice and serve hot with bread of your choice, garnish with parsley if you like.
